Unfortunately not. It's steel, but not as hefty of steel as the pro-grade Meyers, etc. plows.

When I lived in Kansas I saw a lot of truck startusing plexi-glass if you wanted to save some weight cut the steel out and rivit in some plexi. But on the other hand since this is front wheel drive you may want the steel there to help the front tires grip a little better

I'm picking up the SnowBear plow tomorrow morning. I am also getting a SnoWay polycarbonate plow blade for free from a buddy who works for a dealership. They took in a pathfinder that had the plow and when they sent it off to auction, the blade was in the way for loading it, so they popped it off.

Yah, this is the feel-good thread of the forum, and we're all rooting for Crashy!

Good luck with your project, man.

That video is hilarious! Please please do drive it around your neighborhood! If the cops stop you, just tell them you've just been in a really bad accident and all you wanna do right now is get home and be with your family.

OK, I just had a crazy idea: you should enter Crashy in the Yaris Of The Month contest!!

I know I would definitely vote for her!!

I picked up the SnowBear plow this morning! It's like brand new - not a bit of wear on the cutting edge. I have a couple of other projects that I have to finish before I start welding up a mounting frame, but with the way that this plow mounts it will be fairly easy. I am going to weld up a tubular ladder frame that will go under the entire length of the car.

I just ordered a pipe bender so I can weld up the roll cage at the same time.

This weekend, I'll at least put the plow in front of her for a little photo shoot.
