Can I install an old school Toyota tape deck into a 2009 Yaris?
Is there any reason I couldn't, say, buy something like this 98-02 Toyota Corolla Rav4 Tacoma Radio Cassette Tape 86120-04090 A56409 LK31 and install it? I found a pdf with a pinout here that says "1987 and newer." It looks exactly like the plugs behind the head unit in my Yaris, and exactly like the two plugs on the right hand side of the back of that tape deck.
Assuming I don't care about brackets / mounting, if I just plug it in, will it work? Should I be scared? Have they really changed the design that much? |
