Changed starter and still starting issues

Hey guys had some problems with what i thought was my starter sticking so I replaced it and still having the same issue as before. Once in awhile it cranks over longer and hard to get going. Also runs rough for 3 or 4 seconds after starting. Could this be a fuel issue? No idea where to even begin looking now. And no check engine light.

Battery seems perfect lots of cranking power! Could it possibly be a bad ground or is there more to it than that?

I keep it cleaned regularly, usually every 5k when I change my oil. Completely stumped on this problem

I've this same issue with my starter too and usually it happens in the morning when the temperature is colder.

Could it be the spark plugs?

Yup same with my car. I may try the spark plugs as there is 300k on the car and am unsure if they've ever been changed

Spark plugs have to change at least every 70.000. And that’s also a high number.
Try to replace those first and if the problem continues then check your fuel pump. It may became weak over the years.

But if you have so old spark plugs, then you may have missfires too

The second gen Yaris uses iridium spark plugs just like almost every car made in the past 15 years which have a very long service life. The recommended service interval for the spark plugs is 120K miles (200K KM) or 144 months.
