Rough idle after disconnecting battery
What is the best procedure to relearn the ecu after disconnecting the negative terminal. My idle has gone down to just above a stall and the valve timing doesn't sound good at all. Is putting the key in the on position prior to starting the car any help after reconnecting the terminal? Or should I just drive the car normally x amount of km, till the issues resolve themselves?
Thank you, |

It should settle after a while.

Drive a mix of highway/city at various speeds. After approx 100km the ecu will relearn and everything should smooth out
