These figures are approximate.

$0.849 CAD per litre is equal to $3.21 CAD or $2.50 USD per US gallon

$0.919 CAD per litre is equal to $3.47 CAD or $2.70 USD per US gallon

On 2/2/15 I got gas in my '07 at the same Murphy Express station in Tomball, TX that I used on 1/26/15 and 1/18/15. On 2/2/15 it was the 2nd cheapest station in the Houston metro. One station in League City was 1 cent cheaper per gallon. On 2/2/15 I paid $1.58 9/10 USD per U.S. gallon at this station....1 cent less than the $1.57 9/10 I paid 1 week earlier on 1/26/15, and 17 cents less than the $1.41 9/10 I paid there on 1/18/15.

I got gas twice later in the week in my '07 Yaris in Ennis, TX (about 43 miles South of downtown Dallas on I-45). Each time I paid $1.89 9/10 USD per U.S. gallon. Ennis has quite a bit of open land around it, so if people there need to fill-up they'd likely stay in town. As such, the prices are the same at each station.

Back in the Houston area on 2/9/15, the cheapest credit card price North of I-10 had increased 15 cents in 1 week (2-2-15 to 2-9-15) from the $1.58 9/10 I paid on 2/2/15 to $1.73 9/10...this time at the Kroger at FM 1960 and N. Eldridge in Cypress. After swiping my Kroger card I learned that I had accumulated some fuel points. By using the fuel points, I got another 7 cents off per gallon and paid a metro low of $1.66 9/10 USD per U.S. gallon to fill my '14 Yaris.

Im seeing $1.99 here in South Jersey but theres $1.89 in a few places.

It seems to be going up but perhaps theres a pause in the rise...

So far no one is taking my suggestion to give it away for free...

$2.69 the cheapest here in LA for 87 Octane.
Some expensive stations sell a gallon of 87 for $3+

Today......4 days later.....prices are up again. I just paid $1.84 9/10 USD per U.S. gallon at the Wal-Mart at FM 2920 & Kuykendahl in Spring, TX.. This is 18 cents per gallon more than I paid 4 days ago, and 11 cents per gallon more than I would have paid 4 days ago without the fuel points/purchases discount re grocery items purchased at Kroger. The 1.84 9/10 is tied for the 7th cheapest in the Houston metro, with one station at $1.74 9/10, three stations at $1.79 9/10 (with two of those being cash only at that price), and two stations at $1.83 9/10. So, the price of a gallon has risen a bit over 30% (from $1.41 9/10 to $1.84 9/10 per gallon) in a little under 1 month.

Yea they charge an arm and a leg for new cars here, that is why most of the vehicles on the road are Japanese foreign used.

Note: my Yaris ($23,256 US) is a basic model: 1.3 engine, steel rims, no fogs or chrome accessories,2 airbags.
