What was wrong with the previous wrap? It looks pretty sweet to me... but then, what do I know?

That was actually paint. With this car going to SEMA, for the second time, Toyota had no intentions of just dusting off the old car and putting it in the booth. New project, new graphics. The only part that should be left over from its previous life will be the roll cage, and the header.

It looks way better now.

Our new vinyl plotter just got delivered to the office. Now we can do all the detail work, and change some of the graphics as needed for the type of event the car is going to.

Should be looking good for its debut on the 14th.

Time to head down to San Diego for the SCCA Solo National Tour. Won't be getting any work done on the Yaris this weekend. But at least I get to race something with some power.

Late last night I got the headlight covers and flares back on, car is looking sharp. The Toyota transporter comes at 6:00pm to pick it up for its trip to the Staples Center.

On its way... There was also a Yaris sedan race car in the trailer. It was just a roller, looks like a project that never got finished. The driver did not know much about it, just picked it up at one of the Toyota garages.

Found it... The 4-door was another past SEMA show car. The 2006 Street Image car. It has no engine and no brake calipers, but looks like a good start as it has an awesome cage - and air jacks.

I think I liked the black headlights better. But the rest looks cool.

I liked the contrast the black offered, but it did not go with the theme Toyota wanted.
