Rear reclining seat fitment questions
I have 40 inches between the rear shock towers and I want to fit some reclining seats there. Has anyone done this? would sienna rear seats fit there? I think a bench seat would be best because a pair of reclining buckets probably wouldnt fit. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks a lot. Oh by the way, mine is an '08 basic 2 door hatchback, and I do mean basic. Thanks again.

How much recline are you looking for? The factory Yaris HB 60/40 seat has a 5-10 degree recline position.

30 degree would be nice but again, I'm not sure where to find any 40 inch bench nor have I taken apart the existing seat to check out any of the hardware points. Maybe a fixed seat at 20 degrees would be adequate. I want a rear seat that has more legroom since I, at 6'3", need more legroom in the front and am putting extended seats rails in for that. Thanks for your reply.

If you are willing to give up some cargo space, you might just be able to modify the rear bench mount to push the rear seat back.
