all warning lights! help!

help! newbie here,i was looking for a 12v ign on feed, and tapped into what i now found out is cruise control clutch cancelling switch,of which i have an automatic.so,this is not being used.the car is a 2010 yaris 4 door, what happened was i checked circuits to find a 12 hot feed with key on,and found this one.well, went to clip the wire to splice in a connector, and a little zap.now the car has no power stg,no trac control,no speedo,no odometer,no abs,no overdrive, tire press warning light on,check eng light on,along with the aforementioned items also.what could i have possibly blown?checked all fuses, relays, even the big fuse link off the batt feed under the hood.all good.any help on this would be greatly appreciated.thanks

Did you check both the under-hood and under-dash fuses?

The one which could be blown are: 10A ETCS fuse, the 20A EFI, 7.5A IGN, 10A GAUGE, 10A ECU-IG, 7.5A ECU-B, and 7.5A MET.

If you have an AT and shorted where your mentioned, the 10A GAUGE fuse would be the most likely blown.

No. It is possible that you destroyed the ECM, but you can't clear its programming that easy.

What actually still works on the car at this time?

Did you disconnect what you connected to the wire and make sure that the wire is still intact (splice did not actually cut the wire) and make sure that there are no exposed conductors making contact with something?

With the car running the ECM has to be alive, but may not be communicating the with rest of the systems (EPS, etc.) That means that the 60A fusible link is intact, but the 120A one may not be (because of the design of the clear plastic cover over them it can be difficult to see that one is actually popped).

no,the thing is not hooked up to anything.never hooked anything up.once i seen it arc,i quit and checked everything, turned key on and those lights came on,so i figured, maybe i need to drive it to see if that did anything, thast when i found out all that didnt work.like i said, you can drive it,but it will not shift out of 3rd,i-2 shift is ok,but then no od.als no speedo,or odometer.turn signals work along with radio and wipers.beyond that, not sure about anything else so far.
