13'' wheels? really?

Now It seems to be the popular wheel when doing track for our yaris. Does it require a minimum offset or any 13 wheel will fit on there?

And can sum1 link me a set of 13" that i can buy that are not steelies???

I run 13x7.5 Lenso's with a 25mm offset and they fit great on my Echo.
225/45/13 tires and no rubbing ever.

Plus they're SUPER light :)

I know an old track trick was to run really small rims (and tires) to basically change your gear ratio. I had a truck with 28.5" tires (outer diameter) I was contemplating going from 3.55s to 4.10s. I was told to put on some 25" tires and it would achieve the same thing. basically i could keep that set for the track and have my regular set so I didn't have to deal with killing my mileage. I ended up just going with the 4.10s. that truck was a rocket ship.

if it is purely on aesthetics, I can't really comment.

I run V2 13x8 with 225 tires for road racing, and Compomotive 13x9 with 255 tires for autocross. No issues with clearance, and the car is LOW.

Cool, sporting the Formula Mazda radial. Does not look to badly pinched on a 7.5".

It really isn't, the guy I got them from had the same rubber on 13x8.5's and they were almost showing a stretch. Tons of poke past the fenders though lol.

Hoosier A6 for autocross, Hoosier R6 for road course

Here are the A6 with 13x9 (old pic, now covered with fender flares and trimmed fenders):
