You can get a noise filter at your local A/V. That'll stop the buzz. My brother had that problem in his eclipse when he put in his speaker and sub amps. Never priced them myself but I think he paid $20.

Heres a link: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-kezCyum...e-Filters.html

i had the same problem with mine.. found from reading that the antenna ground on the car is really poor.. so i got one of those iso loops and it worked really well.. only noise i get now is when i the ipod dock plugged into the cig lighter and the ipod playing sound.. i hear the drive spin a little here and there

Hi raz,

first you need to figure out from which side the noise comes.. amp or source.

1) unplug all RCA's and let the engine run. Noise still there? --> amp. Noise gone, RCA or HU.
2) plug in RCA on AMP unplug on HU. Noise there now? --> RCA's (shielding or way of laying the cables)--> re-route the wires or purchase better shielded cables.
3) plug in RCA on HU. Noise there? Unplug antenna connector - noise gone --> ground loop antenna. Noise still there --> ground potential difference. Re-run ground from AMP or from HU to the same point.

This should point more the the noise source.

Have fun
Mike

you're a more than capable installer... why not re-ground the antenna?

My acura started doing the same thing. I don tknow too much about stereos. I cleaned and resecured all the grounds. it does this when a cd is playing or listening to radio. My girlfriend finds it amusing. Whenever i press the gas you can hear the rpms from the speakers.
