Awesome pics posted!!

Just wanted to share a few of my own...
Here's a few taken on my vacation last month (drove from soCal to SF then to Eureka/Arcata area for a wedding and back)

Fisherman's Wharf in SF:

Holding the sun.

A place along the Hwy 1 between SF and Fort Bragg... I think it's in Marshall. Little place called Nick's Cove. My favorite shot we got. Taken with a canon 40D and a wide angle lens:

Also at Nick's Cove. (but with a basic digital camera)

I'll need to upload some more pics... but I'm still going through the hundreds that were taken. lol

"BUTT" in the mean time, I'll leave you with an awesome video I took of my friend on 4th of July.

The wide angle was a 10-22mm. I absolutely love it.

I found a great example of why wide angle lenses are a must.

My bf and I were walking through china town in SF and took some architectural pics of the buildings.

First: handheld casio exilim digital camera

Second: canon 40D with the 10-22mm lens.

We were standing side by side on the sidewalk directly in front of this building when the photos were shot. It just amazes me how much the wide angle lenses actually do pull in.

gives you that feeling that you are there.. makes the buildings look overwhelmingly large.. like in real life :)

Man, you make me want to go out and take some pics, but nothing nice around here. I wish I brought my camera when we went to SF for the day. Bah! I was scared someone was going to try to take it. hahahaha.

Here are some pics from today.

I am having these first three printed and will put them in a frame as a series.. i'm going to try to get a good little stock of framed photos and try to get them in a local art store and make some money to get more equipment and better lenses :)
