Yaris flies the flag
Car'mon England! Forget about flying the flag from your side window - here’s one St George’s Cross made entirely out of cars! Toyota drivers created the amazing scene at their plant in Burnaston, Derbyshire, to back England’s bid for the World Cup.
It took staff two 12-hours shifts to manoeuvre 400 Yaris models into place to create the giant flag, and the firm claims the 80x40m emblem can be seen from 1,000ft in the air. Driver trainer Stu Winterburn, who helped choreograph the military-style parking operation, said: “It was hard work, and really tested our driving skills, but we want to do everything we can to help England on their way!” |
