Just to clarify, the DRL position actually will run the low beams at a reduced output. Some of the SE models had the LED DRLs so you'd also need whatever makes that work to use these lights as intended.

Probably a load resistor of some kind, I imagine. In my car, I know the DRL position runs the low beams at regular voltage compared to full on position. I tested the output voltage in both switch positions when I decided to put LED bulbs in the factory housings to replace standard halogen H4 bulbs.

The power is actually pulsed, so the bulb gets full 12v, but not the current it needs for full intensity.

I have my DRL wired as my fogs, with a cap, so the replay doesn't see the pulsed current on my 07.

I could wired it with any lights I want, but I was just lazy to fish wires through the firewall.

Part numbers would be amazing.

I don’t have any diagrams, unfortunately. Perhaps someone else could chime in?

Apologies, I misread your comment. I thought you said you have part numbers.

I have part numbers now for pre-facelift hybrid headlights (and tail lights) with LED DRL, see below. I also included USA spec headlight and tail light part numbers to compare, also pre-facelift. Google the part numbers for images of the lights.

hybrid headlight, LHD, left side
81170-0D500
hybrid headlight, LHD, right side
81130-0D500
hybrid tail light, left side
81561-0D390
hybrid tail light, right side
81551-0D390

USA headlight, left side
81170-52D30
USA headlight, right side
81130-52D30
USA tail light, left side
81561-52760
USA tail light, right side

yea, OEM parts are expensive. Especially for the yaris because there is a tiny aftermarket, especially especially because these parts are not original to USDM so of course they're 500+ each corner, unfortunately

my initial post had an eBay link with the black bezel lights, but I didn't find a part number. I'll keep snooping.

I translated the web pages using Chrome, it appears that they are priced per housing, not per pair. Its hard to tell, the translation was pretty rough. It said "The price is 1pc / page", whatever that means.

In any case, good to know! Thanks for sharing

This link works really well for tracking part numbers if you understand what you're looking for and how the site works.
