What is your definition in considering us as noobs? I have driven the Yaris many times as a loan car when my bimmer was in the shop. However, I am a noob in building a F/I kit using Powerdyne supercharger instead of Blitz into this bad boy. Plus, I am so addicted to boost...

I'd like to download the DIY manual but the "download" option remains grayed out, even though I'm an registered member.

Hey guys, new Yaris owner checking in from the Great White North. Just picked up my 2010 5-door on Monday and absolutely love it. I really wanted a white one but the dealer never had any in stock and I couldn't wait for them to order one in since I needed it to get around.

Even though I only got it two days ago I've been lurking here for a week or so. Lot of very nice cars here, nice work.

After looking at all the cars here you can really see the potential of these cars from a customization point of view. Unfortunately, I bought this car purely as a "winter beater" as my regular car doesn't like snow . Its a 1993 240sx, and it, along with my motorcycles, will be getting all the mod money , so the Yaris is going to have to stay stock. I'm sure it will still be fun though.

Here are a couple of pics:

Here it is with the snow covered 240sx:

Welcome Welcome HerrDeacon!! :) Glad to see you chose a yaris, regardless of the reason. They are quite fun. Maybe some day you'll spare some extra cash from your main focus & bikes (would love to know what you have!) to do some little mods to your Yaris! :)

Even so, Welcome aboard matey!!

Hey Guys/Gals. This is a cool site.:D Belong to lots of fishing boards, but the auto ones are new to me. Drive a 2007 Coupe with 122000 miles on it and just do basic maint to it,change oil every 5000,rotate tires every 10,000(now,I learned the hard way).Basically I went by the manual. Now im looking for the 120 maint how toos. This is how I fell onto this site. Enjoy your posts. Class act site!
BTW I also drive a 2006 Taco 4door Sport which is my beach buggy and maintain that in awesome shape as well. Actually thats my wifes. LOL

Talk to ya's soon.

I suppose I can post here. I'm currently a owner of a '98 Honda CRV.. After long decision and test driving, I've decided a Yaris is what I want. Aiming for a 5-door lb, but will get a 3 door. Just pushing the tranny in the crv as long as i can to save up as much money. I'm not financing, cash is how I'm paying. So once I make my purchase, I will post it =] Until then I will linger and post and learn about my next car. Hopefully I will have mine by April

Welcome everyone.

To HerrDeacon: my Yaris is white, which looks great when clean, but I emphasize when clean; it is hard to keep that way. The color of yours is great, and I sometimes regret not getting that for mine.

I hear you on that one. My 240sx is white and gets dirty. However, whilte cars looks so good when clean, makes up for when they are dirty Especially the Yaris, looks great in white.

Hey everybody. New to the site. I'm already an active user of 9thgencorolla.com with the same username.

I'm a proud owner of a silver '08 Corolla S. Mods so far include 35% tints all around, 8000K HIDs, 2600k Noyka Hyper Yellow fogs, 2nd gen Altis LED tails, and DC front strut bar. I have skunk2 springs which will drop it 2" f/r, Weapon*R Secret Weapon SRI, and a Progress rear sway bar which will get installed in a couple of weeks when I put new pads/rotors. I also have tc wheels, but am waiting for spring to install them (I gotta buy tires first).

Also bought a white '07 Yaris 4dr last month after my '95 Grand Cherokee finally died. My wife is the primary driver of this car so I'm not really looking to do much. This car I bought used and it had 15" Akuza wheels, which surprisingly look VERY nice with the car, not like others who wanna put huge rims and therefore make their car look like crap. Only things I'm thinking of doing on this car is springs/tints/HIDs.
