Plug in hybrid Yaris? - Toyota Yaris Forums

I wonder if anyone's seen this add-on that looks idea for a lightweight Yaris. My (US) Yaris is 600lbs lighter than my VW Golf TDi (which get's better mileage on the highway). That being said the light weight leaves room for batteries. I think this add-on would be awesome for a Yaris:

8 grand for 20-30 miles per charge? And this isn't 20-30 miles with the engine off like a prius, the engine is still idling and using gas. AND its only coasting miles? It can't actually push your car away from a stop. I'd guess it would pay for itself somewhere around year 20 or 25, but probably not. Not to mention its freaking ugly.
