rear hub spacers
Has anyone had any luck sourcing these now that MI is out?
I don't want to install wheel spacers but I like the hub spacers. If I can't find them anywhere is it a bad idea to just use washers and find longer hub bolts to essentially do the same thing? |

Just use the right thickness wheel spacers. We use them with 500whp applications on Audi's. Really no issues especilly a Yaris and the rear too.

I don't like the idea of having 8 bolts instead of 4. I'm also not a fan of having the wheel too much further out from the bearing in regards to bearing life.
That's why I like the hub spacers so muc. No extra hardware other than longer screws. |

For a hub spacer, your idea of washers is not ideal since you wouldn't have full face contact and all the stress would be on the 4 bolts only. |

Good point about the washer idea. I just don't feel fully safe with wheel spacers. I plan on buying new rims. For my Yaris next summer so i'll likely just run a 35 offset and maybe more in the rear instead of running spacers.

rear hub spacers
You don't need the wheel spacers that bolt to the hub and then bolt the wheel to the spacer. I've been running 10mm ichiba wheel spacers for a lot of years with no issue. Only had to replace stock studs with ones 10mm longer and good to go.

rear hub spacers
^ Napa. Somewhere on here I have posted the part# of the stud bolts I got from them. Search 'napa stud' and I believe you'll find the thread.
