Temperature Guage install

HI Guys,

I Own a Vitz RS 1.5 2001,

There is no temperature gauge installed, just an "idiot light",
so I want to install a aftermarket gauge,a triple mini gauge set (SUNPRO).

Can I use the original temperature sender and connect it to the new gauge?
Because I still want the option of the "idiot light".

You'd probably get better results by putting in your own sensor in the coolant line

depending on what the other two gauges are that come with the triple mini gauge set, you might be better off with a scangauge.

I'm assuming you mean water temp and not oil temp? Your oil "idiot" light is for pressure, not temperature.

Either way, a decent gauge will come with a new sensor calibrated correctly for that gauge.
