Auto vrs Manual engine

Does anyone know if the auto equipped engine has the provision for the pilot bearing required for a manual transmission ? I have a line on a newer motor but its an auto. If it doesn't have the provision it won't work. Please let me know.

There is no difference between a block that comes out of a MT car versus an AT car.

I was referring to the crankshaft pilot bearing.

Everything up to and including the flywheel is the same for both. You can either bolt the torque converter to it or the clutch to it.

or throw in the third option and attach a generator to it and have it power cells and then use the cells to power electric motors and call it the little engine that can. :D

WOW that would be worth knowing except for the fact Im unlikely to put 100k miles on my Yaris in the next 30 years.

Hopefully I wont need another engine!
