2008 won't start after front end collision

Crashed my 08 Yaris today and the engine was running still. After I turned it off it won't start and the gearshift will not come out of park. Also no power to the cigarette lighter socket and no display for mileage etc. Key fob will not lock or unlock the car. Was a front end collision. Other than the broken plastic bumper and the coolant leak there is nothing wrong with it. It's on the side of the highway and I want to move it without towing. Is this an immobilizer issue or something More. The airbags did not deploy.

I had a similar problem when my 2009 was involved in a relatively minor front end crash. But the horn wouldn’t work and some of the lights were out. I could fix the wires but I don’t do bodywork and I couldn’t get the sheet metal out of the way so I was forced to bring the car to a body shop to have the pros to the work. C’est la vie!

Yikes. Hope you got it off the side of the road without much trouble and glad it doesn't sound like you were injured in the crash. AAA is a small price to pay for convenience in situations like that. Wish I could have been more help.

Turns out it was a loose battery connection. Car is fine.

Anyone have a front bumper for my 2008?
