Engine swap

I know it’s been brought up or had some kind of discussions about this topic but I was wondering what type of an engine can our Yaris take without doing a lot of modifications on the engine mount or doing too much of modifications. Looking into an engine that can swap right away. I have a 2009 yaris Model S. Looking into a 2ZZ or 2ZR motor. Which in the two is better and easier for the swap. Or how about other bigger engine

A number of folks here have done the 2ZR swap. One did it in his driveway over a weekend (that thread was two threads down from yours in this very section). From my reading, it appears to be the easiest. It mates right up to the factory Yaris transmission. It's the swap I'd like to eventually do to my car.

Here are a couple 2ZR swap threads for you to check out.

As a cherry on top, here's a link to a thread about 2ZR aftermarket resources.

That’s awesome. Thank you.
I’m in a process of looking and ready to purchase bigger motor. I wanna make sure I don’t get caught up with something that is impossible.

As noted, 2ZR swaps in pretty elegantly - all those threads are good reads too.

For the 2ZZ, it has been done as well, but from a quick re-read did require some more fabrication, and the OP was using a different base vehicle (i.e. not a 1NZ): http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53132 There's also this thread: http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13244, but is a lot of discussion, and not documenting the build.

I did a 2ZR in my 3rd gen. and other than some teething issues (which are mostly sorted now) and an annoying exhaust, it's peppy and makes for a fun little drive.
