I ride on Michelin Harmony. Already been on snow & icy roads with, so far very pleased compared with other ordinary 4 season tires.

Thanks GabL.
hystria, how much did you pay for your Harmony tires? So you're saying that the Harmonys are (that much) better than the RE92s? Right now, I'm torn between getting the WRs (for better winter performance) and getting the Harmonys (for better summer performance). |

The RE92 Potenza's aren't the best tire on the market. Do a search on the net, there are a lot of reviews there, those tires are very low rated - almost at the bottom of all even for summer conditions. I did ride the RE92's only from the dealer to my garage I bought the Harmony's used - but in new condition - so can't help with a price - sorry. Almost all 4 season tires are NOT really adapted for harsh winters. For me, the Harmony's performed good enough in light snow - but winter is just beginning . |

Thanks hystria.
I think I'm going to go w/ the Nokian WRs. Kal Tire offered $140 for the four OEM Potenza 185/60R15 RE92s. Hope I won't regret my decision when the weather gets warmer. |

That looks like a smart choice. I didn't even know about those tires, they have an aggressive profile for an all season tire Are those pricey ?

I think our 185's look very narrow from behind, so I'll be going with 205/55/15 Toyo Proxy 4's, as soon as I get a chance, if they would fit on my factory alloys.

I bought those for my ol' 03 Jetta, pretty good tires, excellent value, definitely better than the stock goodyears that came with the car. The only reason I wont go with the Kumhos again is that they just aren't a great tire. I've have Pirelli P Zero Nero M+S and also Potenza RE950's(Now called RE960) which were way better tires. With those tires you felt like you were driving on rails, especially in the rain.

Hystria, the tire size is 185/60R15.
It's been over 100 Kms w/ the WRs. I'm somewhat impressed. The ABS has never kicked in since the WRs're on. I have a lot more confidence on the snow and icy road. It's like night and day (on the snow and icy conditions). On the negative side, the WRs seem louder than the Potenza RE92s. It's somewhat annoying at first; I'm starting to get used to it now. I also feel that these tires have a bit too much grip on a dry road. Contrary to many reviews/reports, I still feel that the RE92s were pretty decent on a dry road. |

Tires and Wheels
My 2009 Yaris has the Aluminum 8 spoke aluminum wheels, and while they look okay, I was wondering what are the best looking wheels and tires I could put on a silver 4 door Yaris sedan? Should I keep the Kumho 185/60/15's and go with new wheels or go with all new wheels and tires all together, ty, Goose?
