I once owned a '88 Ford Festiva LX. That car was great for sleeping. The backseat tumbled.. so you could 'jack knife' the hinge to clear the catches for the seatbacks. Fully reclined back seat! Then all you had to do is remove the headrests up front, move the seats all the way forward, and recline those to meet the back seats.
The only way it could've been better is if it had a shifter like on the EP3 civic Si..

Sleeping in the Yaris

My first good sleeping bag was 90"x 90" zipper undone laid out flat down filled sleeping bag which was so heavy. If it was really cold I could not keep warm in it unless I undid the zipper and just rolled up in it.

I could really use a decent rechargeable fan. One with a suction cup mount. I plan on sleeping at rest areas in Georgia and South Carolina.
Any recommendations would be great..

Not sure about the suction cup mount but I used to have an o2cool camping fan that lasted years before it finally bit the dust. It was in the camping section of walmart. I currently have a Honeywell Turbo Mini I bought at Meijer that runs off of two AA batteries. It's not as powerful as the o2cool fan (as it's less than half the size) but it runs for a long time and does the job if you keep it by you.

I've napped in my 08 hatch with the driver's seat in full recline, I thought it was comfortable enough (I'm 6'2" 190lbs); but if I was going to sleep overnight in the back I would definitely invest in a good air mattress. I have a small travel one that works great for my other travels!

Just a word of caution, most self-inflating ones suck. Get one that fills up in 10-15 breathes, they work much better!

Last car i slept in was a little 850cc Perodua blew my 5th gear went with a bang at 75 mph drove most of a 200 mile trip in 4th gear,5th gear had literally shattered into a million bits.
It cost me£70 for a second hand gear box and £95 to fit it in 2012 so not to bad!sleeping in cars is not recommended especially if you are tall ( 5'10" ) in a car that makes a match box look big! lol
