yaris yr/chassis breakdown

Just curious to find out if anyone can tell me breakdown of years for both ncp91 and ncp95?

My friend is buying an aftermarket bumper for his 2006 5dr hatch but the bumper is off a 2008 which is the same as the facelift didnt start until late 2009/10

Not sure if there are any other noticable changes between those years causing the bumper to not fit?

Ncp91 is from 05-08?
Ncp95 is from 09+?

Thanks!

There is not a chassis code difference within the 06-11 model years. NCP91 is the 06-11 with the 1NZ-FE engine NCP95 is the AWD version of the same chassis with 1.3L engine.

The facelift happened in 09 for US/Canada and 08 for Japan, so it depends on where the bumper is coming from.

The bumper is a JDM modellista bumper that was on a 08 Yaris 5 dr rs so it should fit a 2006 model since it was before the 09 facelift in Canada.

Correct. If it's a real Modelista bumper then it will need the JDM front bumper support (the metal piece under the bumper skin) to replace the USDM one.

Lol it just makes it easier when you are looking parts on Japanese sites as it's not called a Yaris over there.

XP90 This code pretty much represents the whole 2nd generation of the yaris/vitz. Where X = the various powertrain that were available.

SCP90 = 2SZ-FE
NCP91/95 = 1NZ-FE / 2NZ-FE
KSP90 = 1KR-FE

If you're looking at parts, and they're using XP90, it usually means the part is compatible with the chassis, but not the engine/drivetrain.
