springs alignment

I'm reading about lowering springs and it says " an alignment will need to be done at the same time the installation is completed". What does this mean and is it true?

You're supposed to have your car re-aligned each time you modify the suspension which includes lowering springs. But most of us don't because it usually isn't needed. You're supposed to tune your car after adding a new intake, header or exhaust too but I never do and my Yaris is fine. You can if you want but I have a feeling a lot of other members will chime in here agreeing that you don't really have to.

Toe after springs install

Hey, most Yaris owners will be okay without an alignment after a spring install. However the front end Toe became slightly out of spec on mine ( Tanabe DF210 ). My mechanic friend adjusted it on the alignment rack with a wrench, and voila.
