is it possible to use european models and japanese model style body kits on the u.s. version? as long as they are the same year and style?

usdm yaris seem to have longer tail bumper...
don't know if that will effect putting any jdm or edm body kit...
the front bumper i can't tell any difference between them...
the side skirt for canadian rs and jdm rs seem the same...
so, most likely the front and the side are the same, and probably able to fit jdm/edm body kit...
the back... don't know...
switching rear bumpers might need to switch rear bumper beam or something...
example in this thread...

The front bumper of the JDM Yaris is different then the US and Canadian spec Yaris. The JDM kits won't fit our cars front bumpers.

if it's for jdm rs... yeah, any kit fiting the jdm rs front bumper won't work for ours...
because jdm rs are unique... so unique that it's the same as the concept ts for us...
however same body kit has been fit on both canadian and jdm models...

here is canadian c-one

I believe the front bumper laws for japan are less than they are for Canada and the US.

While the pic is hard to tell, it looks like the middle bar that goes across on the silver JDM one is slimmer than the one on the Canadian spec.

I believe US and Canadian cars have to have 5 mph bumpers while japan is 2 or 3 mph.

I read that no jdm front bumper kits will fit on our cars because of this. I read that somewhere on this forum.

I think it possible to attach a Vitz front & rear bumper to YARIS.

The front bumper may need to remove a cooling plate (board to which a wind is led).

No mods should void any warranty but the one which pertains to the part that was modified, and then only if it is obvious that the modification was the only cause of the problem.

Front half spoiler & rear undershirt spoilers other than RS from C-ONE were put on the market. A front spoiler is smart at denunciatory touch.

It is, and it acts as an adult, and it comes out and is [ a rear undershirt spoiler is felt, and ] simple.

That looks hot but how does it attach? It looks as if it splits the bumper which is one piece...?

<BR>It attaches the same with attaching a lip spoiler. It will only cover and cover from a top.

Ok, so we've established that the JDM kits will not fit and that the Australian Sportivo accesories will but still not sure about the Aus front lip?

so are we talking just lips or full bumpers? generally if you are changing out complete bumpers, there is no problem between usdm and jdm with exception of bumper supports which are not necessary or can be replaced with the jdm variant. of course a jdm lip will not fit a usdm bumper(at least without some modification), but without hard evidence to show that the bumpers are not interchangeable, i think this topic needs more investigation.
