2009 Yaris TPMS/TPWS Disable? Latest news?

Hey guys,

2009 lift..
I wanna do away with this TPMS BS... any latest info on pullin the two wires from the TPMS sensor behind the glove box?
Issues or ecu spikes? Will this be recorded into the ECU?

I wanna do it but don't wanna jack anything up.

Thanks

Kel

Did you checked this DIY?
http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11058

Pages 7 & 8 have the most recent options for doing this. Posts #115, #138 & #141. #141 looked like the best option to me since I still have my steel wheels with sensors for my winter tires and if I ever sell the car I can very easily reactivate the TPMS with the flip of a switch, without having to undo wire splices or soldering.

That's it. I've been running my 09 that way, for 1 1/2 years now.
