Hey Guys ... thanks ever so much for the information re the removal of the rear brake drums with the metric bolts ... It worked like a charm. I was out there working up a sweat trying, and yes mildly pounding on the drum so to speak and it was seized tighter than Tobie's er ... anyway. One of the almost advantages of being a Canadian is that we are partially metric so the bolts were relatively easy to come by.
Now onto more serious stuff ... does it make any sense to put anti-seizing compound on affected areas ? I use it between the wheel and drum as in the great white north they use a lot of salt up here on the roads to do what the sun does in the south i.e keep the snow away. anyway thanks again for reducing my blood pressure ... take care ...Vic "Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most" |
