Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome
Saturday, I took a ride up the NYS thruway to the "Old rhinebeck Aerodrome" in Rhinebeck NY.
The Aerodrome is a living museum of vintage aircraft many of which are regularly flown on weekends http://www.oldrhinebeck.org/ |

Yes, there is nothing like the sound of a rotary or radial engine at full throttle!
However, there is something to be said about inline engines also This a fully restored, all original Curtiss JN-4H" "Jenny". It's the only air worthy "Hispano Suzia" powered Jenny in existance in the US. Last edited by RedRide; 09-15-2009 at 09:24 AM. |
