I would just feel too "normal" driving a sedan. The college student in me says LB all the way, but a few sedans on YW are very nice as well. I just like to have something different and more eye catching. The sedan is just too average for my taste. Plus, I wanted a 2 door so I wouldn't always be elected to drive everyone around.

desiree3313 and myself both have LB's. The only thing I wish that Toyota had offered in the 08' model year would have been a five door.

got both so i'll give you my impressions. bought sedan first because we needed something with 4 doors and excellent gas mileage(that and the corolla is the most BORING-looking car ever imho - sorry corolla owners!). we got an auto because it's my wife's primary car and she wanted that. got lb second because my car literally fell-apart on the way home one day and i needed something as inexpensive as possible, but i wanted a new car. i purchased a manual lb with as few options as i could find. thoughts? i definately like the headlights and tails better on the sedan(the factory ones anyways). in fact, i like the overall 'look' of the sedan better(reminds me of a mini-camry- the new ones). 4 doors is also nice if you're loading kids in carseats everyday too! however, the lb is funner(is that a word?) to drive, but that might just be the transmission. i hate the factory headlights and tails on the lb, but that can be fixed(eyelids and new tails). also, its a PAIN loading carseats in the back, but i won't be doing that forever! there's more aftermarket for the lb, but i haven't done any mods yet('yet' being key word- christmas is just around the corner!). i also like that it's a little shorter and the hatchback versatility. overall, there's things i like/dislike about both. sorry for the long-winded response!

I have a LB, I didn't even try the sedan because I was looking for a hatchback, I did test drive hatchbacks from other manufacturers though and I liked the yaris best because it didn't seem as big as the others (but it was still spacious enough) and it had only 2 doors. I never carry passengers, at least not beside my husband or 1 friend next to me, so the back seats in my previous cars have always been a waste of space.
I love the fact that I can put the seats down and get the dog bed and have my dog in the back, laying comfortably instead of worrying about falling between the seats or not having enough room to get up and turn around. I don't have children and don't carry passengers, so a 2 door seemed perfect for my lifestyle. I used to think the sedan was pretty ugly, but I guess that might have been older models because the latest ones do look like a little camry, not bad. |

Good point Imo the sedan just looks better, from stock to mod. The only thing I like better in the LB is the number of compartments. Other than that its sedan ftw.

Lb are good looking and all i didn't like them at all when i was buying my sedan but by time they came out looking good and i want one just for fun, but the main reason for me buying the sedan was passengers including my mom she drives it too (And yes it is my car!!! its under my name and all!!!). but after all the things i been thru with this car its has come real handy including commuting to roadtrips... and i really like the looks of the sedan i always had been a sedan guy.

well, that's on this site. There are without a doubt far more sedans than there are lbs (or even hatchbacks in general) on the road.
