Rear speaker replacement in 5dr hatch
Hi guys, this question has been asked before, but I can't seem to get an answer. I want to put 6.5" speakers in the back of my 5 dr hatch, and was wondering what I need to do this. I've heard it's pretty simple, but I haven't done anything like this before, and don't know where to start. As far as I know, I need to buy a bracket/spacer, but to be honest, I don't even know what that is, or how it works. So can someone help me out and tell me what exactly I need to do to get 6.5" speakers in my rear doors?

A spacer is just a ring of wood or plastic that gives some "space" or lift between the speaker and the actual metal of the door. Otherwise, without it you would be installing the speaker straight on the metal.
There are tutorials on here that show you how to do the install. It's fairly simple. |
