VVTI oil change

2004 Yaris VVTI with the MMT box. When I change the oil in the engine does this also change the oil in the box or is there another filter and another sump?
Dumb question I know but my Haynes manual conveniently says the MMT system is not for amateurs so it has no details of any kind..

Thanks for any advice

At the box, transfer your pallet. This is a separate unit.

There must be a filter in the gearbox; there is also a drain plug in the gearbox pan. You need to know all the information on the car, then you can find the part number

Pardon me, are you asking that if you change the oil in the engine, does it also change the oil in the transmission?

Please note that engine oil and gear oil are two different oils and have two different locations. The oil pan for the engine oil has 14-millimeter bolt, hence, the gasket is also 14mm; while, the transmission has a fill bolt and a drain bolt (in case of manual transmission) that measure 19mm for both bolts and the gasket also measures 19mm.

MMT=multi mode transmission, or also a robot gear.
Its a manual gearbox with a shifter robot, a kind of automatic.
But it has gearbox oil as all other manual, but probably no filter.
