Will thicker automatic transmission oil help with pick-up ?
Frankly, how automatic transmission work, I have absolutely no idea. All i know is there is a torque convertor, whereby clutch engagement is through the viscous oil in there.
I was thinking, will increasing the thickness of the oil help engage the clutch harder thereby helping out with initial acceleration ? It it does help shave 0.5 sec off my century sprint, I'll go for it. |
