My first new car...

Just picked up a Red Liftback Manual.

My first new car ever. My last car was a 1999 300M that I bought in 2002.

I consider my motorcycle my primary transportation. I needed a car for a winter months commute of 24 miles each way.

The car has 99 miles and I must say, it is very fun to drive around town. I am really falling for the car.

So far I have seen two other Yarii on the road.

I wish I had a tachometer. Probably going to be installing one.

I removed the Daytime Running Lights, I want to be the one in control.

I got the car for sticker price + tax, title, plates. Financed with no money down for 60 months.

I only put 10,000 a year tops on my car so, I expect 20 years or 200,000 on this baby.

My wife drives a 5.9 Liter Dodge Durango around town running the kids places. We also pull a camper with it.

Can't say enough about this car. I love it. I believe it is presently the second smallest car in the U.S. next to the MINI. Can anyone confirm that?

Instead of getting a tachometer by itself, I'd strongly recommend spending a little more and getting a ScanGauge II. In addition to a tach, you get mpg reader, scan tool, trip computer... etc.

Congratulations...Enjoy!

Picked mine up in LaCrosse, WI and have over 4,000 miles in little more than 5 weeks. As for the small car??...this is the biggest little car around, see if you can fit 4 people in a camaro or mustang happily!!
