pretty the same..the seats are almost same, the radio and the speedmetter seems to be different..and the gearbox..in the pcitures there are different equipment:new one with auto clima and the old one with manual A/C..those are not the high equipment(thsi one includes keyless go,auto clima, bluetooth handsfree and i think radio navi)
by the way..does somebody know if i have navi or not?-on my radio buttons i have a few keys that refer to navi..but how can i use it?or maybe is need to install some additional modules for navi?

Well, the only difference i see is mainly the gear shift, which is much nicer on the new one, and the material of the seats. Oh, and the stereo buttons. I have the top of the line TS, older model. Is the same, same controls for the A/C and all. and yes, they come with Navi, but only if you got it as an option. but even if you dont get it, the system will come wall the buttons anyways but you wont have any Nav options. And another thing, if you didnt get the Navi option from factory, there is no way to get it anymore. Or so Toyota says! The reason would be that it is a totally different unit!

I had the chance to compare both first hand and are pretty much the same.

The same seats with a different cloth design.

The other difference is the Shift lever and know. Much nice on the 09 model, but it also has the 6 speed tranny...

The shift boot from the 08 model sucks... One of my first mods was to throw that plastic boot away and replace it with a leather one...

The seatbelt is now height-adjustable :D

I like what they've done with the rear foglights. Gives a more wider stance to the rear of the car.
