plenty of ability to make a custom dash making a LOT of room there for sure. Makes it easy to see that a custom dash top with a sweet custom gauge cluster is very possible.

I don't think I could sell this one. I spent two years looking for a cheap, street legal, one to modify and this is the perfect one for that purpose.

nice painting on the right front fender, did the color match up well? You did blend the color with the right door i guess? it looks perfect from that angle.

I used rattle cans from automotivetouchup.com. It never ceases to amaze me as to how perfectly their paint matches. It just did the fender and you can't tell the difference between it and the door. The only issue is the cost. I bought 4 cans @ $22 each and I had to do so many coats to get the finish perfect that I blew through all four on just the fender.

The roof is thin sheet metal, with the primary strength being in the outer structure (above the doors) and the cross members. My intention is to build a tubular structure, kind of like the picture above, to replace the cross members.
