Air Filter Size - '07 LB

I was reading the other thread about air filters, and I checked and noticed there is no filter in my 07HB's area behind the passenger glove compartment. I was wondering:

1) can I buy a filter that fits there?
2) is it easier to take a larger filter and just cut it down to size?
3) what size do I buy/cut to?

I typed in cabin + filter in the search box.

+1 for a NOOB section with all the rules of the forum including the use of the SEARCH button, there's like 5 threads of the same freaking topic

I searched for "air filter size" and got 3 results, none that helped, two of which were locked, and only one of which was in the DIY Service section.

It takes a minute to get the hang of the search feature. Just a good idea to give it a go before creating a new thread. The more threads the more clutter and then the harder it is to find the good stuff. That's all.

7.5" x 8.5". See threads on "cabin filter' in DIY section. You can buy one from a dealer for about $30 or you can buy a good quality furnace filter (try 3M) and cut it to size and get several out of one furnace filter. These are ribbed and may have wire mesh - you probably don't need a tray for them to sit in.
