Recaro Type - R seats

Hey! I ordered some Recaro Type - R seats for my 2009 3 door Yaris.

I was wondering if it's possible to fit the universal sliders on the original brackets?

Or does anyone know where I can get universal brackets to fit the seats in?

I already contacted MicroImage and they said they probably have those brackets to fit universal sliders... but after that the conversation died and I haven't heard from them in 2 weeks :(

Would love to hear some tips or to show me some links to buy them!

thank you!

Do your Recaros have some form of a frame to them? I have sold a couple of sets of OEM seat rails (which easily unbolt from the bottom of stock seats) to people for mounting aftermarket seats to.

This is what they look like when removed from the seats:

Yeah dude, I took my corbeau seat and bought a solid steel bar and bolted the seat to it and then drilled holes to bolt to the stock sliders.!

Just tried to keep it simple. My racetech bracket doesn't line up with stock slider bolts. So much for the easy way.

vten... nice! but quick question... they only give you the brackets right? not the sliders on them? because the sliders are already on my seats :)

so when filling in the ''options'' on the site... I have to select: ''no sliders'' option, right?

like this:

Pff.. paypal is being a b*tch... the transfer has been set on a temporary hold or so called: ''Pending''... they're already making the brackets for me but they won't ship untill they get the money. Some say it'll take 3-4 days before it's complete transferring... others say 7 days or so...

God I hate when paypal does this when i really want something quickly...
