Ignition switch test?
I have been battling my Yaris trying to figure out electrical issue that arose from jump starting it wrong. I took a test light to the ignition switch and in the on position every wire coming off the back of the switch lit the probe. Does anyone know if that is normal? I tried to find something about testing it but didn’t have much luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You likely blew the fusible link which essentially a main large fuse. It is located on the plastic housing that the positive terminal is connected to. Remove your red plastic positive terminal cover and you will see 2 clear windows that show fuse links. Check if they are broken.
Replacements can be purchased from the dealer and will solve the issue if they are blown. Be thankful that the fuses exists, if they didn't your ecu and other electronics in tje car would be fried
