Another One Of Those Threads - Just Cleaned

okay, i just took 4 hours to clean my car. i cleaned it with Meguire's car wash, removed some scratches with Scratch-X, clay barred it with Mother's clay bar and Showtime, and waxed it with Mother's wax. then i rinsed it with water again to de-polarize it. oh my arms hurt (all by hand)...

Looks good bro. Did you wax the wheel covers too? They look great!

Did the claybar pick much up off the paint? I didn't think it'd do much on a brand new car (compared to my mr2, which turned the bar black in no time).

Cammy's car desperately needs its first wash too =p We'll have to pick up some quality stuff for the job.

Looking really nice! I bet its hard to even drive it now cause you worked so hard to keep it clean! Its showroom clean. I admire your patients and hard work to do that. I would like to do that for my car but I don't know if I have the patients...oh well, just pay some one

hahaha, i actually spent little time on the hub caps, but i did brush the tires instead of using the tire shiner. the clay bar picked up quite a bit. it didn't pick up much on some panels, but a lot on others. i'm overall pleased with Mother's Showtime & clay bar, and their wax. i would suggest picking up this set/box.

hahaha, i had four hours to spare. but yeah, thanks for the compliments. i don't think this job will take a long time if you had a buffer and didn't wash a panel a time like i do.

it takes me a long time because i wash a panel at a time. i.e. the roof, then the front windshield, then the hood...etc. and i always keep the entire car wet at the same time i'm washing the other panels (prevents water spots). the time i spend on my car, three of my friends would have washed their cars.
