Yellow Headlight Plug
I was planning on replacing my stock headlights when I noticed a yellow discoloration on the passenger plug. The plug itself looks disformed and what looks like grease all over? I'll post up pics later. Has anyone seen this? It almost looks like the wires were burned but my lights have been working fine for the last 11 days.

When you disconnect it. Look at the contacts in the plug and the terminals of the bulb for signs of overheating from a poor connection.
I have not seen this in a Yaris yet, but have seen discolored shells in other electronic equipment. When the contacts got poor and started to warm up. |
