Side Skirt Part Number

Hi everyone, just purchased a 2013 Yaris SE.

I couldn't help but noticed that the US Yaris SE models do not have the side skirts like the Japan Vitz model.

Does anyone know the part number for side skirts for the 5 door model?

Has anyone had success ordering the side skirts?

I have them fitted to my USDM '12 Yaris 5dr SE..

They are available at your dealer for order but not stocked at any US PDC's. Upon placing an order from Toyota, they will come direct from Japan already painted. Be advised though, the rocker panel on a Canadian/JDM car is a different part number because it has nine holes for the skirt to attach. You will either have to carefully drill holes in your rocker panel or use 3M double sided molding tape (what I did) to attach them. I did drill two holes in the front fender, but sealed them well so they wont rust.

I can get the part numbers of all the pieces needed if you post your color code.

My cost was roughly $900 for everything needed but I do work at a dealer..

I'm going to have to look into this a bit further. It appears 8T0 is not available, I'll have someone call the help desk tomorrow.

Stay tuned!!

No problem!

I hate how US customers get decontented cars. Honestly, if these were fitted to every SE it wouldn't add much to the cost.

Hope you decide to get them, totally worth the $$!

The average American has no desire for a car to look good, or to have any extra "option" that doesn't include a cheeseburger or heated / cooled seats and steering wheels. It's been proven. I mean come on, look at like half the vehicles ford and Chevy made. And GMC - everything they made ever. lol.

Old thread revival. I finally bought the side skirts.

Muffin_top, if your'e still around, where did you apply the 3M tape? Did you only apply strips to where the original mounting clips go?

I am fine with drilling the hole into the fender, but wanted to avoid drilling into the rocker panel.

?
imo, that's a good thing. tacking pieces of plastic to the side of the car will make it less aerodynamic and heavier, even if just a little.

^^^ Unfortunately for me, I like plastic pieces on the side of my car even if it does add a little weight.

Side skirts mounted.
