Water leak in driver footwell

Afternoon folks

Whenever it rains heavily, I notice water in the driver's footwell of my 53 plate Yaris. The photos are taken after there was rain overnight and as you can see, there is a fair bit of water. I am struggling to get my head around where it's coming from. Any help/solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Did you drive it in the rain or it sat overnight under the rain?

Wow! That's a crazy amount of water. Good luck figuring that one out.

Looks like the cowl drains get plugged up.

Perhaps some seal are not tight, like door seals or windshield is leaking.

I can't see how a missing drain plug would flood your cabin overnight.

Yaris cabin floor water leak

OP: Which side is driver's side? Do HVAC box drain tube plug-ups always cause overflow onto right front side of the cabin floor? (Is anything up front different between left and right-hand drive Yarii except the steering wheel, glove boxes and passenger airbag location?)
