So the supercharger kit is for a 2ng gen and I didn’t realize the ecu’s were different between the 2nd and third gen. The piggyback needs tapped into the tach, maf, o2 sensor, and power. I was able to figure out all of the 2nd gen wiring but I can’t find a pinout for a 2012 ecu anywhere.
The previous owner also said that power enterprise told him to leave out the wire for the o2 to get rid of the check engine light that he was having. This seems odd to me. The controller tricks the maf and has a vacuum line hooked up to see how much boost it’s making but it doesn’t seem right to not have the controller hooked up to the o2. I’m going to keep looking for a 2012 ecu pinout and try to get in touch with power enterprise tomorrow. I don’t feel right without the controller knowing if it’s adding the right amount of fuel. |

I got sent an email off to power enterprise. They have a kit specific to the 3rd gen and it uses the same controller so that’s good. I asked them for the installation manual for my year. Hopefully they get that sent off soon. I really want to get the kit installed before the next event.

It’s been a long few days of dealing with this piggyback. I finally got an email back from power enterprise and they were super helpful. They sent me the wiring diagram for the ncp131 but unfortunately, they use a newer controller. The new controller from them would have cost me about $1200 shipped but while I was looking, I found the mapecu3 looks remarkably similar to the power enterprise pmap controller. The connectors and wire colors are all the same. After learning this, I started looking for mapecu controllers. The mapecu3 (newest model with features I don’t need) costs about $650 new but I was able to find the mapecu gen 1 for $200. The only problem now is that the map ecu 1 has one 18 pin connector and the 3 has an 18 and a 16. Right now I’m waiting for an email back from mapecu to get a copy of the diagram for the gen 3. Once I get that, the only thing I need is the map for the ncp131 from power enterprise.
It sounds like a complicated cluster f but it’s really not that bad. Best part is that I’ll be able to sell the 07-11 piggyback to recoup some funds for the mapecu purchase. |

I was able to find the pinout for the newer mapecu. I need the 2 or 3 to run the supercharger. The gen 1 doesn’t have ignition timing capabilities. I was able to find the pinout and identify the wires on the ecu side too. The good news is that power enterprise got ahold of me and let me know that it’s the same programmer and their map will work. I’m just trying to source a gen 2 now. I’m pretty stoked.

Haha awesome. I’ve been procrastinating on installing mine.
Here’s the mapecu2 I found. $300 on Facebook. Last edited by Dliverance; 06-19-2018 at 10:58 PM. |

Woohoo!!! Just paid for the map. I can start the installation when I get back from my trip to Florida.
