maybe the last new 2012 LE

I bought a new 2012 LE never titled full warranty with 2 years free service contract from a rural toyota dealer in Morristown TN .The car is automatic and fully loaded. I bought it around the last of may and am really happy with it.
I could not believe they still had new 2012 cars. They also had a new 2012 matrix and a pruis.

It is beautiful, I love everything about it except it's not a Coupe! I am partial to Coo-pays! I have driven loads of cars & have owned quite a few, but the Yaris is just so cool. Love everything about the car, so glad I got my 2013 automatic Coupe! THANKS for posting the photos!

I was ecstatic to have found my new 2012 six months ago sitting semi-neglected on a dealer's lot. The 2013 models were everywhere and taking the spotlight. Siding with yougojay, I also only was interested in a coupe, so this purchase was a no-brainer for me.

I had a coupe with a five speed but really like the utility of a 4door automatic. Easy in and out access from the back seat easier access in my 2 car garage ,doors are not as long on a 4 door car and don't bang into walls and other cars. I really like the automatic since I have a bad knee and have problems with the clutch thing.

Autos are better too for multitasking. Peope can say what they want about only concentrating on driving, but in today's day and age let's be realistic.

Case in point...it is a real PITA to drive with a Shiatsu dog and a manual tranny...they always want to be in your lap hanging out the window.

Yes, there are advantages to a 4 door as Ron mentioned, just like the looks (sportiness) of a 2 door. Had to have an automatic, did not want to deal with a manual anymore. Had a 1990 Red Corvette Convt. that I drove for 6 years during the Summer months in Chicago - It was a gift. Loved the way it drove (heavy & sporty) and the 6 speed manual transmission was smooth and fun. Also had a Mercury Capri Convt. that was a manual, put a LOT of highway miles on that sucker. It's just so much easier to not deal with shifting at this point in time...plus another person would not have a problem driving it in case of an emergency.
I learned to drive at an early age on both manuals & autos. 3-on-The-Tree's are pretty cool! Drove a lot of manual Chevettes, Camaros, a few Novas, even a few Citations & Celebritys - A Chevy Celebrity w/ a manual was pretty cool (really different as most all were automatics) Many VW's, A few Triumphs, many others.

Back in the day, there were a LOT of Coupes from all the manufacturers, you don't see them that much anymore. Fell in love with the Yaris, so glad they made a Coupe, had to have a Coupe

I can relate to scruffy, I am 66 years old and the reflexes just are not what they once were. I love manuals, and were it not for my bad knee I would still be driving one. I also fell in love with the yaris this is my third one. They really grow on you and there really missed once there gone. I had several VW beetles over the years that I felt the same about.

Mine was the coupe. ^^. Yours is so pretty too.
Man I love this car so much.
When I see others with it, I mentally high five them. Haha!

Scruffy!

I always call dogs 'Scruffy' if I don't know their names...ha!

Thought it was the perfect name for the car. Like so many others here, I just have been so darn infatuated with this car....more so than any other I have owned or driven for a long period of time.
I am off work this weekend, this sucker is getting washed, waxed & vaccumed again!

I am retired but if prices keep going up I maybe working again. lol. There is just something to be said about a little car like the yaris. I would bet there will be a cult following years after Toyota drops the line.

Congrats on your new purchase and you'll love the gas mileage. $35 for a fill up and over 30mpg even if you aren't trying is pretty good. When I bought my Yaris, I found out later it was sitting on the lot for 6-8 months. My guess is that the yaris and corolla are priced too close to each other and most are picking up the corolla instead.
