Yaris recall

Anyone else get a recall notice for side airbag sensors?

"SAFETY RECALL K0F (Interim Notice K1F) - Certain 2015 – 2017 Model Year Yaris - Front Seat Side and Curtain Shield Airbags May Not Deploy As Intended"

Description
The subject vehicles are equipped with side airbag sensors installed in each of the front doors and wire harnesses that connect these sensors to the airbag control unit. These wire harnesses could corrode over time, which could cause the airbag warning light to come on. In addition, the front seat side airbags and curtain shield airbags could be deactivated or not deploy properly. Non-deployment or improper deployment of these airbags can increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
Remedy
Toyota is currently preparing the remedy for this condition. When the remedy becomes available, all known owners of the subject vehicles will be notified by first class mail to return their vehicles to a Toyota dealer. Based on production records, the dealers will replace the assembly in one or both doors, as necessary, with an improved one FREE OF CHARGE.

I will be getting mine fixed, but will wait until others have done it. See if the dealerships run into any problems and really how long it takes to do the job.

My Yaris is my daily driver so I can't have it sitting at the dealership while having the job done.

I got my first notice of the recall via email and 3 weeks ago I got a form letter in the mail from Toyota.
You can check if you have a recalled vehicle through various online sources with you're VIN.

I got my letter about two weeks ago and had the recall work done at the dealership on Tuesday of this week. It took about 2 hours.

Yup, I received mine for my daughters 2017 Hatchback, something about side airbag issues. Taking her car to the dealer next week for repairs.

Got it done. The wiring harness in front doors got replaced.

Good news is the front door panels don't squeak anymore!
