Off-road build
Hello I have a 2015 Yaris le (North American) and I was thinking what my best bet would be for an off-road build. I have 17 inch work emotion wheel but was thinking of going 15 inch with a nice fat tire. What about lift ? Barely any info on lift kits , I'd like a little more clearance. I would be doing light off-road nothing crazy.

I’m curious too about this so I’ll follow this thread. I have no info about off roading these, but I do have some questions about your car here.
How did you tint your headlights? Did you paint or wrap your hood? Looks good though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

There are several off-road Yaris' and associated threads here on the forum, but are you really planning on going from that very attractive street machine to a grungy, off-roader?
It's just my opinion, so take it for what it's worth, but your car looks fantastic. Turning it into an off-roader would be a travesty. Edit: Found a few old threads, but it looks like the image links are broken. http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...ht=road&page=2 http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...light=off-road Last edited by ern-diz; 01-04-2018 at 01:54 PM. |

Sub'd! Interested to see what you do with your Yaris if you dive down the rally / off-road rabbit hole!
^^^ So much good stuff on SubCompactCulture and YarisWorld.. Dig those wheels too man - going to make a note of those for when I get around to doing wheels and tires. -- Adam |

You could do something inspired to the rally version, something like this...
But I would not touch your car, it's perfect as it is! |

rock crawler offroad gravel Yaris 2007
Photobucket blanked the mini-spare-out-front mock-up photo I posted here, but it is going to happen...for traction, flat cargo floor, and a resulting look I don't mind. Also want a second tow hook on the driver's side...two two hooks makes a tow-bar mount?
On the OP's late model, the spare might soften the visual effect of that huge grille. (Does that grille remove w/o pulling the whole bumper cover? prolly not.) Last edited by dogsridewith; 01-09-2018 at 06:26 PM. |

Nice! Im doing a rally style build with mine (got rear ended so haven't made progress). I like the XD idea, also I THINK that flat out suspension's kit can be used to lift it. not sure, but im sure you can call and go over specs with them
