Micro Image forums, online store and shop are now closed. It was a great eight year run, but it was time to focus on other things. I'm still selling parts on eBay under micro*image seller ID and customers can still make requests for anything specific. |

I don't think even Walmart sells things cheaper than what they pay for them...

It's trying to sell a greater amount of product in order to outweigh the expenses and in turn make profit people do it all the time. Ex. Dollar stores

Yeah, I know the concept, I just don't see a large enough market for the Yaris for someone to make a substantial profit off of aftermarket parts.
But let's ask Garm if he's made his first million yet!?!

I wasn't spefically targeting just the yaris aftermarket parts just aftermarket parts in general. But yeah I was wondering that myself! How long have you even been open?? (garm)

My point is we are very fortunate to have people like Garm who are dedicated to the aftermarket community for a car that honestly has not been overly popular in this country!
Those of us who like to make our Yarii "unique" unto themselves would have a lot less choices if it weren't for companies such as MicroImage and DotComRacing. Some dealerships try hard but there is only so much that Toyota offers, so if it weren't for these vendors the selection of items for our cars would be considerably smaller. Cheers! M2

Well, mine were delivered yesterday and they look pretty good in the box!
There were basic instructions included, but I was hoping that someone who's tackled this already took pictures and has captured some of the idiosyncrasies of putting them on the Yaris. If so, please post them here or put a link to the thread. Cheers! M2

not really much to it I do know however that it will require you to take off the entire front bumper but other then that should bolt in just like the stock ones the only real tricky part (for me at least) would be the wiring especially since those come with a set of led's which will require its own special wiring most likely unless you can find some way to wire it into your original headlight wiring assembly

Well, that was a lot easier than I expected; however I am still quite not done!
I got them installed and man, do they transform the look of the car! I've got the high and low beams working, plus the running lights; but I am still trying to figure out how I am going to run the halos. Has anyone tried using the side marker light connection as a source of power? I've got two wires, a black ground (-) wire and a white positive (+) one that the vague instructions say to connect to the driving lights. Other than that, they look great and I plan to see how well they work tonight once the sun goes down. Hopefully the new grill I ordered from MicroImage will be here soon, I think between it and the new lights Sprocket's gonna look a whole lot better! I now wonder why it took me so long to do this... And I guess I'm gonna need a new avatar! Cheers! M2

I ended up splicing them to the two wires for the side marker lights. It was a simple snip, snip, connect, and viola! Halos! Pretty damn bright, too!
Again, I'm pretty pleased with these lights. I waxed them up as I don't want them to fog up like the original ones did. The southcentral Texas sun can be pretty brutal on plastic... Cheers! M2

Wow, those halos are as bright as the LEDs?
The ones I have look like this: And on this picture, they even look brighter than they are IRL.
