rubbing up front under heavy breaking

Under heavy breaking when the car is lurching foward I am getting a klunck noice. At first I thought it had to do with the suspension xmember they replaced after a run-in with a pot hol, but I am thinking it is the oversized 195-55-15 tires rubbing when breaking hard and throwing the chasiis foward,

What do you think?

i just switched from 205/50/15's (azenis) to 195/55/15's (star specs), and i am getting the exact same thing. i think the extra diameter is just a tab bit too much. stiffer springs would help.

Drop is 1.5" on TRDs, is very minor and only slmmming the brakes to an abrupt stop.
