by shorten the pipe and relocated the filter, do you feel more gain or loss on power, MPG, and how does it sound if any different compare to the standard set up?
and did the filter fit right into the engine bay or, did you had to do some other mod to get the filter to fit it under the hood?

has anyone thought on making a heating shield for their short ram intake? So is to block the hotter engine bay air... or is this somthing thats just not done?

It throws a CEL.

Chino, since you have been testing the intake for 1K miles, have you had any CEL lights thrown? Have you had to tweak the intake at all, if you had any thrown?

1,000 miles, and no CEL's from the intake. I have been experiementing with the entire intake system to see just what does throw a CEL, so I have thrown a couple in the process, but it is all because of things I tried and not because of the intake itself.

No, I was saying that taking the second half of the piping off of the TRD intake to make it short like mine throws a CEL. The sensor is placed too closely to the filter.

Guy's, let's give Charles some room here. The question on when it's going to be completed, doesnt need to be asked daily. Charles has taken the bull by the horns, and is trying his best to get things in order, and only when he feels he has the best product he can make for us, is when it will be released.
