Rad Support bent to sh*t
I have noticed the bottom part of my radiator support has been seriously bent for a few years but I now have a leaking radiator which has forced me to look a little closer under the car. I noticed that the left side of the rad the support is crushed also! Previously I assumed that the bottom piece bending was just from hitting frozen slush in the winter but after a second look that metal is pretty thick. Does anyone else have a bent radiator support due to frozen flush in the winter?
Here is a picture of the bent piece on the left (left side of the car) of the radiator. 20150412_202820.jpg Here is the rad leaking and support under it totally bent. 20150412_202829.jpg btw Any recommendations on a decent radiator that won't leave me broke? |

I don't know if this is possible in the area you live, but there are places that can repair radiators.

you might want to replace that rad support too if you can unbolt it.

might have been in an accident before? used one from a junkyard that passed a pressure test of would ideally be the least expensive.

Actually, I just ordered those two pieces for my car. I got side support and the lower rad support for $48 shipped. Mine wasn't bent quite that bad, though. I did hit a snow pile when I bent mine. I didn't even realize I bent anything until I started my engine swap.
The rad support comes apart super easy. One nice thing about this setup. |
